<p>Exempt is an application designed to streamline customs declarations, allowing passengers traveling to and from the Bahamas to expedite the mandatory declaration process with Bahamas Customs at all Bahamian Ports of Entry. The app boasts additional functions, including a Shopping List, Flight Tracker, and City Guide.</p>

<p>Enhanced optional features include Shopping Lists for item storage and upload to C17 forms, a Flight Tracker to monitor commercial flights, and a City Guide providing directory and information about travel destinations, resulting in an overall more efficient process.</p>

<h2>How Exempt Operates:</h2>
<ol>
  <li>Download from the IOS App Store</li>
  <li>Create an account with secure login to retain your profile</li>
  <li>Scan passport information directly within the app</li>
  <li>Add minors to your account if individual profiles are not preferred</li>
  <li>Select C17 Form for Accompanied Baggage</li>
  <li>Enter Travel Information for each trip</li>
  <li>Add additional passengers’ profiles if declaring together (each passenger must have their own account)</li>
  <li>Upload receipts for all declared items</li>
  <li>Add each declared item to your C17 form along with baggage details</li>
  <li>Choose Exemption Status (if applicable)</li>
  <li>Agree to Declaration Terms</li>
  <li>Calculate duty once the C17 form is complete</li>
  <li>Save and generate a Mobile Passport QR Code for inspection scanning upon arrival</li>
  <li>Select one of the following options:
    <ul>
